This is our front lawn where Grandma Stoltzfus had planted her garden since 1966.
Back when I was (was?) a kid I remember hoeing weeds in the garden right where the kids are standing. Grandma would give me a glass of apple cider and a handful of Wege brokens when I was all done. I can still smell the the gritty soil in my fingernails.
